January 18, 2022
Both WATERPIK SONIC-FUSION and WATERPIK Complete Care provide compact, effective, and easy-to-use solutions for your brushing and flossing needs. However, there are important differences between them.
Read on to learn more about how these products are similar and how they are different so you can choose the product that is best for you.
Sonic-Fusion vs. Complete Care: What’s the Same
SONIC FUSION and Complete Care share many of the same features, including:
- Compact design that uses a single power outlet
- Rechargeable sonic toothbrush that docks in base of unit for charging
- Toothbrush recharge indicator and brushing timer/pacer
- Toothbrush travel case
- Water flosser function (electric power required)
- 10 water flosser pressure settings
- Clinically proven results
What’s Different: Sonic-Fusion
With SONIC-FUSION, you can brush, water floss, or both at the touch of button. Flossing technology is built into the patented brush head allowing you to use one device for both brushing and flossing.
SONIC-FUSION is also global voltage compatible and comes with a 3-year limited manufacturer’s warranty.
SONIC-FUSION currently comes in two versions, the SONIC-FUSION 2.0 and the SONIC-FUSION 2.0 Professional, with the main differences being the shape of the unit and the professional model including an additional flossing brush head with magnetic brush head holder.
What’s Different: Complete Care
With Complete Care, the toothbrush and water flosser have separate power handles that are not combined, so you brush and water floss separately.
Complete Care is compatible with standard WATERPIK water flosser tips, including the Classic (JT-100E), Plaque SeekerTM (PS-100E), Pik PocketTM (PP-100E), and Implant Denture (DT-100E) tips.
Complete Care works only with North America voltage (120VAC/60Hz) and includes a 2-year limited manufacturer’s warranty.
It also comes in two versions, the Complete Care 9.0 and the Complete Care 5.0, with the main difference being the shape of the unit.
