- How do I clean my Sonic-Fusion?
To clean the flossing portion of the device (recommended monthly), follow the directions in the cleaning instructions article.
To keep the toothbrush clean, remove and rinse the brush head after each use, and wipe the handle dry.
- Why is the Sonic-Fusion flossing function not working?
There are several possible remedies for this issue:
- Reset the wireless communication and test the outlet: you can find detailed instructions and video in this product support article.
- Reset the toothbrush: press and hold the FLOSS button for 20 seconds. Then place the toothbrush on the charging dock. It will not power on until at least one solid battery light displays.
- How do I charge my Sonic-Fusion toothbrush?
For a full charge, leave the handle on the charging base for at least 4 hours. For optimal performance, keep the handle in the charging base when not in use.
If the unit is to be stored for an extended period of time (six months or more), be sure to fully charge it (at least 4 hours) prior to storage.
- Why won't my Sonic-Fusion toothbrush charge? How do I reset my toothbrush?
Try the following:
- Toothbrush battery reset: Press and hold FLOSS button for 10 seconds, then charge for 4 hours.
- Radio connection reset: Press and hold BRUSH and SPEED buttons for 5 seconds, then charge for 4 hours.
- Why is my Sonic-Fusion unit leaking?
Leaking from handle: Make sure the brush head is fully engaged into the handle or try a different brush head. Inspect the handle for visible damage.
Leaking from reservoir: Leaks may be due to a loose reservoir, damaged seals, worn parts, or water left in the reservoir between uses. Make sure the reservoir is firmly seated when in use, and empty any remaining water after each use. Also, do not to use boiling water or a dishwasher's heated dry cycle when cleaning the reservoir.
Contact customer service if leaking continues. If the reservoir, handle, or other parts need to be replaced, please visit the Waterpik Online Store to purchase replacement parts.
- My brush head won't engage or shoots off during use, what do I do?
This is commonly caused when the toothbrush handle is dropped. Check to see if the bottom of the power handle is flush to the outer ring of the handle.
If the bottom of the power handle is not flush, you will need to replace your unit. Contact customer service for assistance.
