WaterpikTM Water Flosser Returns and Refunds


Welcome to the WATERPIK Returns and Refunds support page. Here, you'll find detailed information on return and refund eligibility, exchange policies, the process for handling refunds and returns, and a step-by-step guide to submitting your request. Our goal is to make the process easy for you.

Eligibility

To be eligible for a refund, the purchase must have occurred in the United States or Canada and the customer is required to provide proof of purchase, from an authorized retailer, in the form of an itemized and dated receipt. The purchase must have occurred within 30 calendar days for all water flosser or accessory products except Sonic-FusionTM and SensonicTM Complete Care in which case the purchase must have occurred within 60 calendar days.

For purchases made outside of the US and Canada, customers should contact the seller directly or reach out to their local distributor for any return or refund inquiries.

Receipt Requirements

Requests without valid receipts will not be approved. Valid receipts must include:

  • Date of purchase
  • Dollar amount paid
  • Itemization of items purchased
  • Seller information including name and address

Exchanges

WATERPIK does not offer product exchanges. However, purchases within the return window are eligible for return. All water flosser models, except SONIC-FUSION and SENSONIC Complete Care, have a 30-day return window. SONIC-FUSION and SENSONIC Complete Care models have a 60-day return window. Purchases made outside of the return window, from authorized sellers, are covered under warranty. To check the duration of your warranty, please refer to the Service Maintenance section of your Owner's Manual for any return or refund inquiries. Process

The process of requesting a return and refund varies depending on the type of purchase:

  • WATERPIK Online Store Returns and Refunds: The customer is responsible for the shipping costs associated with returning the items to our warehouse. A refund will be initiated once the device is received. Please submit a return and refund request by following the return and refund request steps outlined below.

    Once submitted, please allow 2 business days for a response, via email, to your return and refund request. Refunds, less cost of initial order shipping and handling, will be made to the original form of payment and may take 3-10 business days to reflect in your account

  • Retail Returns and Refunds: For expedited service, WATERPIK strongly advises that all purchases from retail stores (brick and mortar or online retailers such as Amazon) be returned to the retailer. If processed and approved through WATERPIK, a physical check will be mailed to the provided address within 10-12 weeks.

WATERPIK does not provide refunds in place of warranty assistance. If your purchase was made outside of the return window as mentioned above, and you are having problems with your unit, please contact our customer service team before purchasing a new device or submitting a warranty request.

Requests Outside of the 30-Day Window

WATERPIK cannot accept return and refund requests past the 30-day window, except for SONIC-FUSION and SENSONIC Complete Care models, which have a 60-day window. If your product is not functioning correctly, visit our various product support pages for troubleshooting resources or contact customer service for warranty assistance. Purchases made outside of the US and Canada are not eligible for refunds or returns.

Gifted Products

If you have a qualifying itemized gift receipt (please see receipt requirements above), you may request a return and refund. In all other cases, WATERPIK can offer warranty assistance for products received as gifts, but does not support traditional returns and refunds for items purchased from retailers as gifts.

How to Request a Return and Refund for Your WaterpikTM Purchase

If you bought the product from a retailer, first contact them to request a return or refund. If you’d rather request return and refund from WATERPIK, follow steps below.

If you bought it directly from the WATERPIK Online Store, follow these steps to request a return and refund:

  1. Gather these items:
    • Dated itemized receipt or invoice showing your WATERPIK purchase; we cannot accept bank statements, dental office handwritten notes or packing slips
    • If you placed your order through our friendly customer service group, please provide the CS or LL order number
    • Physical mailing address
    • Your product's model and serial numbers which can be found on the bottom of the unit or by removing the water reservoir
    • Your name and contact information

  2. Email this information to service@waterpik.com. Use "Refund Request" as the subject line.
