How to Process a Waterpik™ Warranty Claim
Waterpik™ Limited Warranty
Water Pik, Inc. warrants to the original consumer, when purchased new for personal household use, that this new product is free from defects in materials and workmanship for one (1) to three (3) years from the date of purchase, depending on the product purchased.
To process a warranty claim, you will need:
- Valid original purchase receipt or the manufactured date (serial number found embossed on the device) as proof of purchase
- If requested, the entire product for inspection
If the product meets warranty conditions, Water Pik, Inc. will replace it at no cost. This warranty applies only when:
- The product was purchased new, in original unopened packaging, for personal or household use. Products resold after the initial retail purchase are not covered.
- The product has not been abused, misused, altered, or damaged after purchase.
- It was used according to its instructions
Note: Installation is the responsibility of the consumer and is not covered by this warranty. Accessories and consumable parts (such as tips) are excluded. Use with improper voltage will damage the product and VOID the warranty.
What’s Covered Under Warranty
Manufacturer defects that may occur under normal use, such as:
- Jet tip will not stay in place
- Leaks from the base, hose, handle, or reservoir
- Unit will not power on
- No water flow or low pressure
- Toothbrush will not turn on or hold a charge
- Missing parts from the original packaging (we will send replacements)
Customer Service Assistance
Our Customer Service team will make every effort to troubleshoot your device and restore its functionality. Customers are required to complete all recommended troubleshooting steps before a replacement can be issued. If these steps do not resolve the issue, a replacement device or part may be provided.
What’s Not Covered
The warranty does not cover damage or issues caused by misuse, accidents, or external factors, including:
- Physical Damage: Broken tips, stems, or cracked devices from dropping or impact
- Lost Items: Parts/accessories misplaced or lost by the customer
- Improper Voltage Use: Using North American units in 220/240VAC outlets
- Improper Storage: Wrapping the cord around the base, causing fraying or power cord issues
- Natural Disasters: Damage from floods, fires, or other uncontrollable events
- Customer Servicing: Opening or attempting to repair the unit yourself voids the warranty
Out-of-Warranty Repairs: For cracked hoses or reservoirs, replacement parts can be purchased
